Cultivars and rootstocks.

Abstract: Within Persea americana, 3 horticultural races (more correctly botanical cultivars) are recognized, namely Mexican, Guatemalan and West India, each with distinguishable features of horticultural significance. This chapter focuses on the cultivars and rootstocks of subtropical and tropical climates.
