“…These results of enhancing leaf nutrient contents may be due to that Zn is essential for sugar regulation and enzymes that control plant growth [38]. The obtained results are in conformity with those of El-Khayat [39], (Gomaa [40] on Antholyza aethiopica, Yadav [41] on tuberose and Samia and Mahmoud [42] on Tritonia crocata.…”

“…The agreement between the DFT values and the experimental data is excellent. 22,23 The relative energies of various phases of AlN per formula unit are also listed. From Table I, it is shown that the wurtzite phase is most energetically stable, while the zincblende phase is 43 meV higher than the wurtzite phase, and the rocksalt phase is 345 meV higher.…”

“…Similar methodology has been applied to our earlier metal/nitride interface calculations. 22,33,34 During growth and later under indentations, AlN may experience various types of stress.…”

“…1(b) that there is a slightly decrease in lattice parameters as we increase the Zn content whose values are given in the table 1. The most probable reason for such a behavior of the nanomaterial is understood due to the smaller atomic radii of Zn 2+ ion (0.74 Å) as compared to the Cd 2+ ion (0.97 Å) and Zn 2+ ion replace the Cd 2+ ion , therefore lattice is contracted 18,19 . Furthermore, the Lorentz factor has also been calculated which depends on the Bragg angle/diffraction geometry and gives the distribution of diffraction planes in the powder samples.…”
