Abstract:Coumarin‐1,2,3‐triazole hybrids connected to quinoline or pyridine framework have been synthesized in good to excellent yield by the 1,3‐dipolar azide alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuACC) of 4‐azidocoumarin with propargyl quinoline or propargyl pyridine derivatives in the presence of CuSO4.5H2O or CuI as catalyst. Similar reaction of 4‐azidocoumarin or tetrazolo[1,5‐a]pyridine with 4‐propargyloxycoumarin and 4‐propargylaminocoumarin resulted in the synthesis of the corresponding coumarin‐1,2,3‐triazole hybrid… Show more
