CT Imaging Findings of Metastatic Spindle Cell Sarcoma of Prostate: A Case Report and Review of the Literature

Abstract

Sarcomas of the prostate are rare tumors. Imaging plays an important role in the management and diagnosis of patients with prostate sarcomas. Their clinic-pathologic features are well described, but the imaging features of these tumors have rarely been documented in the literature and have appeared mainly as case reports. Herein, we present a rare case of metastatic spindle cell sarcoma of prostate with computed tomography imaging findings. Prostat sarkomunun klinik-patolojik bulguları iyi tanımlanmış olmasına rağmen görüntüleme bulguları ise daha az sayıda derlenmiş ve vaka raporları şeklinde sunulmuştur. Burada, biz oldukça nadir görülen metastatik spindle hücreli prostat sarkomu vakasını bilgisayarlı tomografi gö-rüntüleme bulguları eşliğinde sunduk.
