CsPbBr3-DMSO merged perovskite micro-bricks for efficient X-ray detection

Abstract: Inorganic perovskite wafers with good stability and adjustable sizes are promising in X-ray detection but the high synthetic temperature is a hindrance. Herein, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is used to prepare the CsPbBr 3 micro-bricks powder at room temperature. The CsPbBr 3 powder has a cubic shape with few crystal defects, small charge trap density, and high crystallinity. A trace amount of DMSO attaches to the surface of the CsPbBr 3 micro-br… Show more

“…This value is lower than the dose rate required for X-ray diagnosis (5.5 μGy s –1 ) . The detection limit of m PC-M@PLA thin film is comparable to the values reported recently for lead-based perovskites CsPbBr 3 -DMSO (564 n Gy s –1 ), CsPbBr 3 –CsPb 2 Br 5 (1.130 μGy s –1 ), and CsPbBr 3 @PMMA (0.12 μGy s –1 ) . A plastic capsule with a metal spring inside was first placed on the background of PC-M@PLA.…”

“…[26,36] N-doped carbon material favors sodiumion storage and charge transfer in the composite. [37][38][39] Meanwhile, Nb-O/N@C also exhibits obvious Nb-O-N bonds, [40,41] suggesting that the Nb-O clusters doped with N atoms may produce asymmetric coordination (Nb-O/N), which can further optimize the electronic structure of clusters. As for the O 1s spectra (Figure 2f), the presence of Nb-O bonds (530.5 eV) suggests that these materials contain niobium oxides.…”

“…In final, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was performed on the fresh cells aged 12 h assembled by HC and P-HC-2 electrodes, and the data are fitted to obtain value of fitted Rs (impedance of electrolyte solution) and Rct (charge transfer resistance) (Figure 4h and i) . [31,32] Compared with HC, P-HC-2 shows the smaller semicircle diameter, indicating a low charge transfer resistance at the electrolyte/electrode interface, due to the increased surface wettability by P doping. Besides, D Na+ also could be estimated by calculating the Warburg coefficient (𝜎, the slope of Z′ versus 𝜔 −1/2 ) , [31] and the more is 𝜎 value, the less is D Na+ .…”
