New technologies drive educational shifts, transforming offline to online learning. This study investigates e-learning and cloud computing integration to understand synergies and their potential impact. The study addresses two primary research questions: the influence of elearning on factors like architecture, software, performance, security, hardware, network, and virtual aspects, and the examination of cloud computing services and models such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and S.O.A. The research aims to provide insights into how e-learning is incorporated in a cloud computing environment. The motivation behind this study is to investigate the intricate relationship between e-learning and cloud computing. By analyzing 154 scientific papers, the study delves into the specifics of this integration, highlighting trends and areas that have received more attention. The study examines e-learning in a cloud computing environment, focusing on architecture (27%), general topics (21%), software (19%), and performance (18%). Virtual environments have fewer security issues, while storage and network focus are more prevalent. Cloud computing services are mainly all services, with software as a service (18%), infrastructure as a service (17%), and platforms as a service (10%). Most studies are based on public clouds (74%), all other models (11%), and hybrid clouds (3%). The study examines elearning integration in cloud computing, highlighting limitations in hybrid and private clouds, specialized infrastructure, and a gap in platforms and infrastructure offerings.

The article summarizes the essence of the category "model", presents the main types of models used in pedagogical research: structural, functional, structural-functional models. The basic requirements for the construction of these types of models are also given. The experience in building a model and designing a cloud-based learning environment of educational institutions (both higher and secondary) is analyzed. A structural model of a cloud-based learning environment for bachelors in software engineering is presented. Each component of the cloud-based learning environment model for bachelors in software engineering is described: target, management, organizational, content and methodical, communication, technological and effective. The model of interaction of participants of the educational process in the cloud-based learning environment is developed. Forms, methods, and tools (both traditional and cloud-based) of content and methodological components of the cloud-based learning environment's structural model that can be implemented in this cloud-based LMS are described. Forms of an educational activity (classes, practical training, independent work, control measures, as well as research work of students) are considered. The types of lectures that can be conducted in a cloud-based learning support system are described: lecture-conversation, lecture-discussion, video lecture, lecture-consultation, and lecture-presentation. The types of practical training offered in the cloud-based learning support system are described: laboratory work, workshop, seminar, and webinar. Different types of independent work and assessment are considered. The research work of students as a form of educational activity provided by the curriculum of bachelors in software engineering is singled out. The main teaching methods that can be implemented using a cloud-based LMS to support the training of bachelors in software engineering are considered. It is generalized that the cloud-based learning environment should solve all the main tasks facing higher education institutions.

With the emergence of technology, the personalization of e-learning systems is enhanced. These systems use a set of parameters for personalizing courses. However, in literature, these parameters are not based on classification and optimization algorithms to implement them in the cloud. Cloud computing is a new model of computing where standard and virtualized resources are provided as a service through the Internet. This paper proposes an approach that allows learner modeling in the cloud where these parameters are integrated. The suggested approach is based on the support vector machine algorithm, which analyzes the learners' traces to find the best classification of learners through selected parameters with a low cost. An experimentation is conducted to validate this approach. This experimentation is based on the produced traces for learner modeling. The obtained results show that this approach represents the learner model with low operation costs compared to classic systems (no cloud).
