Crystallographic data of α-glucoheptonic acid γ-lactone

Abstract: Crystals of fl-glucoheptonic acid 7-1actone, prepared by recrystallization of the commercial compound from water, were found to be orthorhombic with a o = 7-61, b o = 17-25, c o = 6-60 A (all ±0-02 A).
