Abstract:Melting and crystallization behaviour of poly(viny1idene fluoride) (PVF2)/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVAL) blends have been analyzed. From Hoffman-Weeks plots we have found that an appreciable melting point depression of PVFz does not exist. On the other hand, we have found that, the presence of PVAL affects the morphological factor y , which is not constant with the composition of the blend. This factor suggests that the melting behaviour of this system depends on kinetics effects. The kinetics of isothermal crystall… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
