Crystallization and melt behaviour of poly(vinylidene fluoride) + poly(vinyl alcohol) blends

Abstract: Melting and crystallization behaviour of poly(viny1idene fluoride) (PVF2)/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVAL) blends have been analyzed. From Hoffman-Weeks plots we have found that an appreciable melting point depression of PVFz does not exist.On the other hand, we have found that, the presence of PVAL affects the morphological factor y , which is not constant with the composition of the blend.
