Crystalline architectures of C₈₄ with tunable morphology and linearly polarized red emission

Abstract

C84 microprisms with similar crystalline structures are prepared, which exhibit polymorphism depending on the preparation conditions. These microprisms show linearly polarized red emissions with a high polarization ratio (ρ) of 0.42–0.58.
