Abstract:Within the framework of our research into the complexation in the UO 2 XO 4 -L -H 2 O system at 25°ë (X = S, Se; L are dimethylcarbamide isomers), we found that the composition and structure of the uranyl compounds formed depend appreciably, along with the nature of the tetrahedral oxo anion, on the structure of molecules L, in particular, on their ability to be involved in hydrogen bonds. In all four systems, new uranyl complexes have been obtained. In the case of symmetric amide structure (L = N , N '-dimeth… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
