CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF TbIG IN VARIATION OF TEMPERATURE (298, 150 K) AND MAGNETIC FIELD (H=0, 0.1 T)

Abstract: Temperature and magnetic field dependences of crystal structure of TbIG were investigated by X-ray diffraction. Corrections for primary and secondary extinction were made. It was found that temperature variation significantly affects the spherical domain, size r, whereas magnetic field affects the mosaic spread η.

“…For these highly magnetized neutron stars, the distortion induced by the magnetic torque becomes significant, strongly enhancing the GW emission. In the case of a pure poloidal internal magnetic field matching to the dipolar field B in the exterior, the ellipticity is given by (Bonazzola & Gourgoulhon 1996;Konno et al 2000):…”

“…In particular, the native enzyme contains a fairly high content of a-helical structure (40%). However, it should be mentioned that quantitative estimates of secondary structure from CD spectra suffer from several theoretical (35-38) and experimental (39,40) limitations, so that the quantitative reliability of the figures reported in Table 1 can be questioned. This is particularly true for 0and unordered structure, whereas the amount of a-helix generally appears more reliable (cf.…”

“…This affiliation is in spite of the distant relationship between red algae and diatoms. Examination of hypothetical homologs from the acromelic acid producing mushroom may enable better insight into how these enzymes evolved (44). In addition, the detailed understanding of DabA described here may help inform the creation of PCR based assays that can detect DabA expression in the environment and serve as an early warning system before domoic acid accumulates to toxic levels.…”
