Abstract:Source of materialAll organic reagents and solvents purchased from commercial sources were used without further purification. Sodium pyridine-4-thiolate (0.66 g, 5 mmol) dissolved in methanol was added to 10 ml acetonictrile containing 2-chloro-pyrazine (0.58 g, 5 mmol) with stirring at room temperature. After 5 hours, the solvent were removed under vacuum. The products were then separated and purified by column chromatography on silica gel (eluent: dichloromethane/methanol = 95:5, v/v), and the di-[2-(pyridin… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
