Der Zweck der nachfolgenden Zeilen soll weniger darin bestehen, eine Ubersicht iiber gewonnene Ergebnisse zu vermitteln, als vielmehr durch gemeinverstiindliche Schilderung der zur Verfiigung stehenden Methoden dem Chemiker die Moglichkeit zu geben, selbst entscheiden zu konnen, wann er bei seinen Arbeiten durch rontgenographische Methoden unterstiitzt werden kann.Es soll versucht werden, dieses Ziel dadurch zu erreichen, daB die wichtigsten rontgenographischen Methoden besprochen und durch einige Beispiele erlautert werden. Zum tieferen Verstandnis ist es natiirlich notwendig, iiber fie allen Methoden gemeinsame Grundlage, die Beugung der Rontgenstrahlen, unterrichtet zu sein. Es ist aber im Rahmen dieses Aufsatzes nur moglich, kurz darauf einzugehen.
