Crystal structural, magnetic, and electrical transport properties of Sr1.1K0.9FeMoO6 double perovskite

Abstract: The crystal structure and physical properties of the double perovskite Sr1.1K0.9FeMoO6 have been investigated. The structure of this double‐perovskite compound is assigned to a tetragonal system with space group I4/mmm and X‐ray diffraction data suggest that the Fe and Mo ions are partially ordered on B‐sites. Thermal magnetization demonstrates that the metamagnetic transition temperature is about 275 K. At room temperature the isothermal magnetization, M–H, shows that the saturation magnetic moment per formul… Show more

The diffusive distance, L, and the inelastic scattering time, s i , are from 1.390 Â 10 À6 to 1.256 Â 10 À6 cm and 7.578 Â 10 À11 to 6.189 Â 10 À11 s, respectively, in the temperature region from 245 to 300 K. The disorder parameter, (K F l e ) À1 = 15.144, can be obtained from the free-electron formula.…”

“…Sr atoms have been substituted completely by La, Ba, Ca or K atoms, leading to different modifications of the physical properties [8][9][10][11]. To our knowledge very few references to anion doping in DP Sr 2 FeMoO 6 have been found.…”
