Abstract:Understanding the apheresis principles for harvesting hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) is critical for performing efficient procedures. However, despite significant advances in estimating the collection efficiency (CE) of aphereses, many confounding factors still need to be addressed in the classical calculations.
