Crosstalk of Redox-Related Subtypes, Establishment of a Prognostic Model and Immune Responses in Endometrial Carcinoma

Abstract: Redox plays a central part in the pathogeneses and development of tumors. We comprehensively determined the expression patterns of redox-related genes (RRGs) in endometrial carcinoma (EC) cohorts from public databases and identified four different RRG-related clusters. The prognosis and the characteristics of TME cell infiltration of RRGcluster C patients were worse than those of other RRG clusters. When it comes to the gene cluster, there were great differences in clinicopathology traits and immunocyte infilt… Show more

“…Notch, mTOR, and NF-κB pathways are engaged in SASP management [42]. The majority of studies conclude that cellular senescence acts primarily as a cancer suppressor rather than a cancer promoter [43][44][45][46][47][48][49][50]. Silencing peroxiredoxin1(Prx1)-induced cellular senescence blocks malignant conversion and inhibits the formation of oral squamous carcinoma [51].…”

“…Ni et al constructed a prognostic model composed of 12 miRNAs for UCEC, which can accurately predict the survival of UCEC [ 58 ]. Using redox-related genes, Geng et al developed a clinical outcome prognostic model [ 59 ]. Compared with previous studies, our study started with m7G-related miRNAs and included only 9 miRNAs, which had better accuracy in 1-year prognosis prediction.…”

“…Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are transcripts of more than 200 nucleotides, and according to current reports, lncRNAs have no direct transcriptional ability to encode proteins ( Peng et al, 2017 ; Geng et al, 2022 ). However, essential effects of lncRNAs in regulating RNA transcription, translation and protein dynamics have now been identified, and there is increasing evidence that lncRNAs have different roles in the pathogenesis of cancer ( Ma et al, 2018 ; Song et al, 2021a ).…”
