Abstract:Ion yields upon the cascade decays of single vacancies in K to O shells of an isolated iodine atom are calculated by the method of construction and analysis of the cascade decay trees. Branching ratios needed for the simulations are calculated based on Pauli–Fock partial transition widths. Partial photoionization cross sections are calculated with accounting for the core relaxation effect and used to calculate the cross sections of I

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
