Cross Sections for the 100 MeV Proton-Induced Nuclear Reactions and Yields of some Radionuclides Used in Nuclear Medicine

Abstract: Cross sections and yields have been determined for some radionuclides, used in nuclear medicine ( 52 Fe, 77 Kr/ 77 Br, 82 Sr, 123 Xe/ 123 I, 128 Ba, 201 T1), in bombardment of targets with protons of energy < 100 MeV. The experimental cross sections are compared with the excitation functions calculated by the code ALICE in the energy range from the threshold to 100 MeV.
