Many studies in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic have shown that millennials are reluctant to wear face masks while they are out in public. This poses serious threats to the community, especially to the vulnerable population with comorbidities. Addressing this issue, this study examines the effectiveness of a self-interest statement, collective interest statement, and legal enforcement statement in motivating millennials to wear a mask in public. This study collected data through online survey from Millennials in India and uses a t-test with Welch Approximation to compare the results of the three statements with a control text. The results show collective interest statement was more effective in motivating millennials to wear masks. Reflecting on this finding, the study proposes that authorities and media could frame their advertisements, campaigns and awareness programmes by emphasizing the health of family and friends to motivate millennials to wear face masks in public

South Korea's Public Diplomacy Strategy through the Korean Wave, has had an influence on Indonesia as one of the country's goals. The Korean Wave is one of the instruments or tools used by South Korea in the form of entertainment industry products such as music, drama and films that can introduce South Korea to the outside world, so that it is better known internationally. The method used by the author is descriptive qualitative, using the concept of Public Diplomacy using soft power techniques. This technique is an important tool in the implementation of Public Diplomacy. In this study, the author will discuss how the strategy used by South Korea to introduce the characteristics of the country and then make the Korean Wave so successful internationally, including Indonesia. The development of Korean music, drama and films in Indonesia is increasingly expanding with more and more fans every year. The results obtained are that the strategy used by South Korea involves various actors such as central ministries, local governments, and the private sector. South Korea established a five-year Public Diplomacy strategy and an annual Public Diplomacy implementation plan

Competitive Factors of Fashion Retail Sector with Special Focus on SMEs

Nowadays small and medium sized enterprises have become increasingly important in contribution to job creation and economic growth both in national and European level. Considering the rapidly and continuously changing business environment, due to the impacts of globalization and concentration, staying competitive is a great challenge for companies in the 21st century, especially in fashion retail sector. The current paper is intended to map the current situation of the sector—focusing primarily on SMEs—through the extensive literature review; and provide a better understanding of sector-specific competitive factors in fashion industry. The research methods are the analysis of different related articles, reports and other scientific literature sources, in-depth interviews and questionnaire survey. The survey was validated by confirmatory factor analysis, data were analyzed and evaluated through PLS-SEM model. The main findings of the study show that the most important competitive factor is the compliance with consumer needs. Furthermore, the research also points out that SME sector lag behind chains, thus, they need to focus more on better understanding and meeting consumer expectations. In this activity, it would be useful if they received EU and domestic support for educational assistance.
