Abstract: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common malignancy and fourth leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. 1,2 Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is widely accepted as one of the important risk factors leading to colorectal cancer (CRC).
