Abstract:Crohn's Disease (CD) is an intestinal chronic inflammatory disease included in the group of inflammatory bowel disease. It is associated with an inflammatory process and may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract. The pathogenesis of CD has become better understood owing to advances in genetic and immunologic technology.
