Abstract. Critical infrastructures are very important tools which are paramount to the development of any nation. Therefore, they must be protected and catered for in order to promote their longevity. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) critical infrastructures are significant amenities which the nations depend solely upon in order to run their day to day transactions. Similarly, some advanced systems like the computerized integrated systems are used to support many functions and to improve their efficiency. Examples include the power grid generation control system, the railway stations in transport, the health infrastructure etc. There are numerous vulnerabilities and attacks on the network which these infrastructures are inter connected to in order to make them function well and to serve the populace. These attacks compromise the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) of a computer with internet network. However, this paper aims at providing comprehensive security gaps in ICT critical infrastructure and their preventive measures by critically reviewing related works that have been done and suggest possible ways to improving the system so that the people can be served well with the resources, and similarly to prevent the attackers from hacking into the system when there is a system breakdown.

Abstract-The critical infrastructure are vital for the development of a growing economy and the public services offered by a nation. These permit the vital systems of a nation are responsive to the needs of the population. Over the last few years Panama has seen a growing problem in necessary infrastructure for the strategic operation of the nation. That said, when infrastructure is vulnerable to forces of nature or human activity, they then become critical infrastructure that once inter-related they affect the normal functioning of a nation. Critical infrastructure are systems and/or assets physical or virtual: the production of goods, roadways, telecommunications, etc. where their inoperability or destruction impact different public or private services. This document Paper? Proposes a dynamic analysis of the different elements that are influenced by the critical infrastructures using the analysis of social networks and the dynamic of systems. Abstract-Urban infrastructures are vital for the development of a growing economy, and public services in a country. They allow the vital systems of a nation to respond to the needs of its inhabitants. In recent years Panama has been a growing problem in the infrastructure needed for the strategic running of the country. When any infrastructure is vulnerable to natural events or human being, they become critical infrastructures. When these critical structures interact they might affect the normal functioning of a country.
