“…Accordingly, the critical behaviour of the ribbons can be welldescribed by the mean field, MF, with a dominated long-range order of ferromagnetic interactions. Similar critical behaviour was reported for the Ni 43 Mn 46 Sn 8 In 3 Heusler alloy prepared by arc melting and annealing at 1323 K for 48 h. The small deviations in critical exponents β and γ from those expected for the mean field model were related to the coexistence of FM and AFM interactions in the alloy [38]. It is obvious that preparation conditions and, consequently, the alloy's microstructure influences their critical behavior considerably.…”

“…For instance, Phan et al 8 showed that Sn substitution at Mn site in Ni 50 Mn 50-x Sn x affects the short-range FM interactions and lead to the formation of ordered FM phase in the system. Additionally, the role of various substitutions is studied through critical exponent analysis as reported in Ni 43 Mn 46 Sn 8 Z 3 (Z = Cr and In), Ni 47 Mn 40 Sn 13-x Cu x , Ni 2.2 Mn 0.72-x V x Ga 1.08 10 – 12 . Furthermore, disorder also influences the critical phenomenon around FM transition 9 , 18 20 .…”

“…Moreover, the analysis of critical exponents for appropriate model proves very informative in examining the magnetic interactions and establishing a correlation between the critical exponents and exchange integral responsible for ferromagnetic transition. The critical exponents near the PM-FM transition in the austenite phase of Ni 43 Mn 46 Sn 8 X 3 (X = In and Cr) Heusler alloys have been analysed within the framework of long range mean-field theory [45]. The recent results show deviation of critical exponents from the long range meanfield model, which is explained with two different behaviors that belonging to two different universality classes [46,47].…”
