Abstract-The use of eModeration (of examination scripts) can improve the efficiency of the examination moderation, while simultaneously lowering the risk of misplacing or delaying the moderation process. Despite the potential benefits of using an eModerate system in terms of optimising examination procedures, the implementation and application of such online moderation systems in the South African context is limited. Various factors could be contributing towards the resistance to the implementation and adoption of eModerate systems in higher education institutions. These factors include human factors as well as technical and organisational resistance to change. This study focuses on the human factors involved in eModeration (user experience) and attempts to answer the following research question: How can the User Experience Evaluation Framework for eModeration be utilised within the context of higher education institutions in South Africa? The research used a Design Science Research methodology, which included the design, development as well as testing of the User Experience Evaluation Framework for eModeration. This paper will report on identified issues pertaining to the User Experience Evaluation Framework for eModeration during the evaluation phase. The research was conducted at Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI), now trading as Pearson Institute of Higher Education, a private higher education institute in South Africa. The data generation methods included interviews with eModerators from different faculties within a private higher education institution. This paper makes a theoretical contribution to this area of study by identifying the problems that users might have with the implementation of the User Experience Evaluation Framework for eModeration as well as providing some insights into the user experience of eModerators.

Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) is a new interdisciplinary field of research at the intersection of Human Resources (HR) and Information Systems (IS). Research in e-HRM is currently based on diverse research approaches from HR and IS, its ''parent disciplines'', as well as other disciplines. The frequent implicitness and thus uncertainty of the used research approaches, however, is disadvantageous for future e-HRM research because it obstructs a conscious and instructed selection and adoption of research approaches as well as mutual understanding and cooperation between different research approaches. The current chapter thus aims to categorise (which approaches are available?) and analyse (which characteristics and potential do these approaches demonstrate?) e-HRM research approaches. To this end, a brief framework of conceptual criteria is derived that allows research approaches in e-HRM to be categorised and analysed. Based on this, a categorisation and analysis of four major approaches, i.e., critical research, interpretive research, post-positive research and design research, is offered, and the possibilities for adopting these approaches in e-HRM research are described.

Part 4: Enterprise Modelling Approaches and Tools for Agility and FlexibilityInternational audienceIn this paper we are concerned with the development of an observational research approach to gain insights into the performance of Business Process Modelling Methods (BPMMs) in practice. In developing this observational approach, we have adopted an interpretive research approach. More specifically, this involved the design of a questionnaire to conduct semi-structured interviews to collect qualitative research data about the performance of BPMMs. Since a BPMM is a designed artefact, we also investigated Design Science Research literature to identify criteria to appreciate the performance of BPMMs in practice. As a result, the questionnaire that was used to guide the interview is based on a subset of criteria of progress for information systems theories, while the observational research approach we adopted involves the collection of qualitative data from multiple stakeholder types. As a next step, the resulting questionnaire was used to evaluate the performance an actual BPMM in practical use; the DEMO method. Though the analysis of the collected qualitative data of the DEMO case has not been fully performed yet, we already foresee that part of the information we collected provides new insights compared to existing studies about DEMO, as is the fact that a variety of types of stakeholders have been approached to observe the use of DEMO
