“…Through resilience "organizations will not only be better positioned and prepared to deal with the demands of high-impact events, but also seek opportunity and gains through uncertainty" (Burnard and Bhamra, 2011, p. 5584). Moreover, Fusco and Migliaccio (2018), while studying the financial structure of Italian cooperatives in times of crisis (2004)(2005)(2006)(2007)(2008)(2009)(2010)(2011)(2012)(2013), reached to the conclusion that the structure has not been essentially affected by the crisis, as a result of resilience in their business model.…”

“…The international and Italian bibliography does not adequately examine the subject of the profitability of the agricultural enterprise by making use of the balance sheets data. This study provides this, which also uses numerous statistical elaborations and above all, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) method (Gu, 2013; Solari et al , 2009; Strang, 1980; Ross and Willson, 2017; HackerJoel and Angiolillo-Bent, 1981; Quirk, 2012; Liao and Li, 2018) that has already demonstrated its usefulness in investigations of this type (Iovino and Migliaccio, 2018a, b, 2019; Fusco and Migliaccio, 2015, 2016a, b, 2018, 2019; Migliaccio and Fusco, 2018; Migliaccio and Arena, 2018b).…”

The project investigated Italian cooperative companies (Fusco and Migliaccio, 2015, 2016a, b, 2018, 2019), with attention to social cooperatives that manage social welfare residences for the elderly (Migliaccio and Losco, 2018) as well as innovative start-ups (Migliaccio and Pavone, 2019, 2021) and social enterprises (Migliaccio and Pavone, 2020). In addition, a further study is currently underway on the profitability of companies in the primary sector with the aim of identifying significant differences in relation not to the geographic location but regarding the prevailing activity carried out (agricultural, farming and mixed activity).…”
