Abstract: Background and AimCrimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is a tick-borne viral zoonotic disease caused by Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV), a member of the genus Nairovirus in the family Bunyaviridae and order Bunyavirales.
