Criação de bovinos em sistema silvipastoril com eucalipto: um risco para intoxicação por Ramaria flavo-brunnescens

Abstract: O objetivo deste trabalho foi descrever e discutir os aspectos epidemiológicos de surtos de intoxicação espontânea por Ramaria flavo-brunnescens em bovinos criados em sistema silvippastoril na região sul do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram diagnosticados três surtos da enfermidade entre 2011 e 2013. Em dois surtos a morbidade foi de 35% e 37,4% e a mortalidade foi de 36,12% e 16%, respectivamente. “…The three outbreaks of poisoning by Ramaria flavobrunnescens occurred in a municipality in the southern region of Rio Grande do Sul, where there is a large reforestation area with eucalyptus where cattle are grazed. Raising cattle in a silvopastoral system has increased the risk of this poisoning (Alves et al 2014).
