ObjectiveThis research aims to explore the trends and knowledge domain of acupuncture for cerebral infarction through bibliometrics.MethodsPublications related to acupuncture for cerebral infarction were retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database from 1993 to December 31, 2023. A domain knowledge graph was then constructed using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, GraphPad Prism, and Scimago Graphica.ResultsThe cumulative publication trend shows a steady increase over the years, with China being the most productive country. Notably, Europe exhibits significant close collaboration. Institutional cooperation is primarily observed among Chinese universities specializing in traditional Chinese medicine. Tao Jing is the most prolific author, with his highest number of publications is in “Stroke” journal, and Acupuncture Electro Therapeutics Research is the significant journal. Zhang SH is the most cited author, and Si QM is a prominent author in this field. Rehabilitation treatment after cerebral infarction emerges as a prevalent research focus, with nerve regeneration being a keyword. Long EZ's 1989 paper, published in the journal Stroke, holds significant importance. The prominent papers are Donnan et al. and Wu et al., which covers the following topics: “population-based study,” “Baihui Acupoint,” “memory deficits,” “neurotrophic factor,” and “randomized trial.”ConclusionThis bibliometric analysis of acupuncture for cerebral infarction offers insights into the Web of Science database, delineates a knowledge map of countries, authors, institutions, cited authors, keywords, cited references in the field of acupuncture for cerebral infarction, which has a momentous guiding significance for quickly and accurately positioning the key information in the field.

Procambarus clarkii is the most widely distributed freshwater shrimp in China, with important economic value and great potential for development. The forkheadboxL2 (Foxl2) gene has been found to be involved in the reproductive development of many crustaceans. To understand the role of the Foxl2 gene in the gonad development of P. clarkii, we designed CDS-specific primers for the P. clarkii Foxl2 (PcFoxl2) gene and cloned its CDS sequence using RT-PCR. The nucleotide and protein sequence information was then analyzed through bioinformatics analysis. The expression and subcellular localization of PcFoxl2 in various tissues were detected using qRT-PCR and in situ hybridization. The effects of PcFoxl2 knockdown on gonad development were investigated using RNA interference. The results showed that the CDS length of the PcFoxl2 gene was 1614 bp and encoded 537 amino acids. Protein sequence comparison and phylogenetic analysis showed that PcFoxl2 was the closest relative to Crayfish. qRT-PCR analysis indicated that the expression level of PcFoxl2 in the testis was significantly higher (>40 fold) than that in the ovary (p < 0.01). The in situ hybridization results showed that PcFoxl2 was expressed in both the cytoplasm and the nucleus of egg cells, and that the expression was strongest in egg cells at the early stage of yolk synthesis, while weak in the secondary oocytes. The positive signal was strongest in the spermatocyte nucleolus, while only a trace signal was observed in the cytoplasm. After interfering with the PcFoxl2 gene using dsRNA, the expression of PcFoxl2 in the RNA interference group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and this interference effect lasted for one week. Moreover, the gonad index of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (p < 0.05) after 10 days of P. clarkii cultivation following PcFoxl2 knockdown. The expression levels of the nanos and S3a genes, which are related to gonad development, decreased significantly after PcFoxl2 gene interference. The results suggest that the Foxl2 gene is involved in the growth and development of gonads, particularly in the development of testis, and is related to the early development of oocytes. This study provides a theoretical basis for the artificial breeding of P. clarkii.

Purpose. Compiling a list of sources, which may be useful for learning about studies and issues related to river crayfish, their ecology and biology. Methodology. The holistic approach allowed getting acquainted with a broad range of literature on the study topic, while the selective approach allowed focusing on specific aspects or authors specializing in this field. Attention was focused on papers in scientific journals and collections, materials of temporary teams, as well as monographs devoted to the studies on the biology of river crayfish. Findings. A thematic list of the main works - materials of international scientific and practical conferences, articles from collections of scientific works, thematic scientific collections, journals as well as monographs and abstracts of dissertations on the biology of crustaceans and their cultivation in global crayfish aquaculture has been prepared. The cited works cover the time period from 2019 to 2024. The bibliography contains 166 publications, placed in alphabetical order and described in accordance with the requirements of the HAC, in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015 «Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of drafting», taking into account the amendments (UKND code 01.140.40). Practical value. The list can be useful for law-making activities, maintenance of ecological security of Ukraine, for specialists, scientists, students interested in crustacean biology and crayfish farming. Key words: crayfish, management, cultivation, commercial harvest, feeding, biology of freshwater crayfish.
