“…Therefore, in this paper, based on the previous work [2,[22][23][24][25][26], we set up a 3D model coupled with the magnetic field (H-method) and thermal field to investigate the electromagnetic-thermal behaviors of an HTS levitation system consisting of a cylindrical PM and HTS with a cuboid slot under moving magnetic fields caused by the movement of a PM, which have not been reported so far. Using the 3D coupled model established, we found that the electromagnetic behaviors of an HTS with a cuboid slot is very different from those without damage including its electromagnetic force and loss.…”
