“…Mice received a second injection with 100 mg of the same plasmid in 50 ml of PBS on day 28 via intramuscular inoculation. 24 Mice were also injected with 100 ml 0.25% bupivaccine to enhance the cellular uptake of plasmid DNA. Twenty-four hours later, plasmid DNA was injected into the quadriceps of mice.…”

“…In our previous study (Shen et al, 2014), we showed that the degree of myocarditis could be reduced by interfering with the expression of MCP1 using anti-MCP1 monoclonal antibody, which indicated that MCP1 had a significant influence on the development of viral myocarditis (VMC). Mononuclear cell migration mediated by MCP1 is an important mechanism for the damage of myocardial tissue in mice with VMC (Shen et al, 2004), and we found that the mononuclear cells that migrate have a significant cytotoxic effect on normal myocardial cells cultured in vitro (Shen et al, 2009). Thus, MCP1 also plays an important role in autoimmune damage in VMC.…”

“…In brief, TILs (1ϫ10 5 /well) were plated on 96-well plates that had been previously coated with 2 g/ml anti-mouse IFN-␥ Ab. MMC-treated 4T1 cells (1ϫ10 3 /well) were added as stimulators into tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte cultures.…”

“…During an inflammatory response, leukocytes exit from circulation and infiltrate into inflamed local tissues in response to chemokines [4,5]. Blockade of leukocyte migration into local tissues inhibits inflammation [6].…”
