Abstract:The severe acute respiratory syndrome is caused by the new RNA virus known as coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-COV-2 can lead to clinical pictures ranging from asymptomatic infection to severe respiratory distress in children and newborns. It is known that newborns immune systems are not sufficiently developed for infectious agents.
