Fang et al. in their Focus Review on These nanocrystals are categorized by their morphologies, which include nanospheres, nanocubes, nanooctahedra, nanostars, various superstructures, lead‐chalcogenide‐based multi‐component nanocrystals, and their in‐situ self‐assembly into lead‐chalcogenide one‐dimensional nanostructures. The novel properties and potential applications of these lead‐chalcogenide‐containing assemblies in thermoelectric and solar cell applications are highlighted.
