Cover Feature: Recycling of All‐Solid‐State Li‐ion Batteries: A Case Study of the Separation of Individual Components Within a System Composed of LTO, LLZTO and NMC (ChemSusChem 13/2023)
Abstract:The Cover Feature illustrates the problems arising from the finite lifetime of a battery and the challenge to reanimate it for a second life by means of a recycling process. It shows that dead solid‐state batteries could be resurrected after digging them out of their graves by subsequent recycling via a hydrometallurgical process using citric acid.
