Cover Feature: An Unprecedented Interpenetrating Structure Built from Two Differently Bonded Frameworks: Synthesis, Characteristics, and Efficient Removal of Anionic Dyes from Aqueous Solutions (Chem. Eur. J. 33/2019)
Abstract:An interpenetrating structure (NTOU‐5) is reported, built from two differently bonded open frameworks by a hydro‐(solvo)thermal method and its structural features were characterized by single‐crystal XRD. A mixed metal analogue can also be obtained through a similar method. Moreover, the title compound shows its structural stability and efficient captures of organic dye pollutants from aqueous solutions even at concentrations as low as 10 ppm, which is similar to the pollutant content in industrial wastewater.… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
