Cover Feature: A Sustainable Palladium‐Intercalated Montmorillonite Clay Catalytic System for Imine Hydrogenation under Mild Conditions (ChemPlusChem 4/2021)
Abstract:The Cover Feature shows the prospective application of natural Rajasthani clay, portrayed by an earthenware pot and desert in the background, as a support for the catalytic hydrogenation of imine and C=C bonds. Montmorillonite clay intercalated with palladium nanoparticles catalyses the hydrogenation of 3‐diphenyl prop‐2‐en‐1‐imine under mild reaction conditions, and showed excellent reusability over five cycles.
