Cover Feature: A Sustainable Palladium‐Intercalated Montmorillonite Clay Catalytic System for Imine Hydrogenation under Mild Conditions (ChemPlusChem 4/2021)

Abstract: The Cover Feature shows the prospective application of natural Rajasthani clay, portrayed by an earthenware pot and desert in the background, as a support for the catalytic hydrogenation of imine and C=C bonds. Montmorillonite clay intercalated with palladium nanoparticles catalyses the hydrogenation of 3‐diphenyl prop‐2‐en‐1‐imine under mild reaction conditions, and showed excellent reusability over five cycles. More information can be found in the Full Paper by R. K. Sharma and co‐workers.
