“…The scarcity of LGBTQIA+ affirmative frameworks is evident in the limited number of couple interventions designed for or adapted to same-sex populations (Garanzini et al, 2017; Minten & Dykeman, 2019) and limited research testing the effectiveness of these interventions (Gray et al, 2022; Newcomb et al, 2017; Whitton et al, 2017).
