Theory and evidence suggests that returns to research and research and development are currently declining. This paper seeks to identify patterns in the use of business research methodologies in certain of the latest articles published at the forefront of the field of business research innovation, from its leading journal. This literature is used to identify the current front line of business research methodologies at the forefront of the field. Propositions are derived from novel theory, and are critically juxtaposed against identified topics and methodologies in these articles. In so doing, the conceptual distance of the front line of empirical research in the field from the radical front line of theory in the broader field is quantified. Methodological implications are discussed and recommendations are made for the development of a future research agenda.

This paper constructs a mobility network of Chinese scientists and a cooperation network of scientific research based on data on mobility and research cooperation in China at the urban scale. Through several methods, including spatial analysis, network analysis, and regression analysis, the nodes and bilateral relations in the two networks are found to be highly coupled. Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta are hot spots for the mobility and scientific research cooperation networks of Chinese scientists. Only a few cities in the two networks play important roles, and most of the cities serve as a foil. The spatial mobility and scientific research cooperation activities of Chinese scientists are concentrated in the eastern region, the Chinese scientists’ mobility and scientific research cooperation networks are rhombus structure, the two networks both are compact and hierarchical network with Beijing as the single dominant city, and the power‐law distribution in the bilateral relationship of two networks shows a “pyramid structure”. Finally, we discuss the possible reasons for the spatial co‐location relationship between the mobility and scientific cooperation of scientists.

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 emphasizes the importance of the digital literacy elaboration that links the full technological and pedagogical capabilities to enhance learning outcomes in all three domains that include knowledge, skills and attitudes. Much is needed of factor analysis and measurement studies that touch on aspects of pedagogy and technology as an indicator analysis of pedagogical competency development models. The method used is a quantitative approach, data analysis technique is done through the Goodness of-Fit criteria. The stages of modeling and analysis of structural equations in the analysis of first and second measurement models are performed with CFA and using SEM as a tool. Data analysis was also carried out to analyze indicators that predominantly influenced learning outcomes. The results of the study concluded that the Technological and Pedagogical Model was a factor and measurement of learning achievements in education.
