Abstract: AbstractCorticobasal syndrome (CBS) is a progressive disease that includes a heterogeneous neuropathological spectrum. In the majority of cases, corticobasal degeneration (CBD) is the underlying disease. Clinical heterogeneity is reflected in the clinical presentation of the syndrome and consequently misdiagnosis is common.
