Cost of care for asylum seekers and refugees entering the United States: The case of volunteer medical providers in El Paso, Texas

Abstract: Background Between October 2018, and February 2020, the United States saw an unprecedented increase in the number of asylum seekers and refugees arriving unexpectedly at international crossings along the US-Mexico Border.
