Abstract

When compared to TURP, PAE was associated with significantly lower direct in-hospital costs and shorter hospital stay.

Differences between that and the present study regarding the total amounts might be caused mainly by the different assessment and classification of costs, different materials used for surgery, and shorter hospitalization times.…”
