Cosmic ray production in modified gravity

Abstract: This paper is a reply to the criticism of our work on particle production in modified gravity by Gorbunov and Tokareva. We show that their arguments against efficient particle production are invalid. F(R) theories can lead to an efficient generation of high energy cosmic rays in contracting systems.

“…Dynamical behaviors of the models with the known scale factors such as power law, exponential law, hybrid scale factor and hyperbolic scale factor are also presented to study the expanding behavior of the universe. [15][16][17][18][19]. Stability of the models under this gravity is another aspect to validate the modified gravity [20][21][22][23].…”
