Corticosteroids for the Treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema

Abstract: Diabetic macular edema (DME) is a leading cause of vision loss throughout the world. Three different corticosteroids have been used in the treatment of diabetic macular edema: triamcinolone acetonide, dexamethasone, and fluocinolone acetonide.
