Corrosion Detection in Pipelines by Radiograph Density Measurements

Abstract: In this study the thickness profile of pipes; with 6 inch in diameter and thickness ranges from 4.2 to 15.0 mm; was determined by using radiograph density measurements. It was concluded that thickness loss of 10, 20 and 50 percent and corrosion surface could be determined by this method in pipes. Also some Formulas were drawn and suggested for this method.
