“…The average diameter of equiaxed primary α grains is 18 µm, the diameter of secondary α grains is 7 µm, and the diameter of interstitial β grains is 0.8 µm. Reference [25] pointed out that secondary α appeared after processing at a relatively low temperature in the α/β region. According to Image-Pro Plus 6.0 statistics, α accounted for 93.22% and β accounted for 6.78%.…”

“…The twins of TC4 titanium alloy appear first in the yield stage of tension at low temperature. The grain size shows the deformation behavior of grains in different degrees, directly affecting the dislocation movement and interaction during the deformation process [25].…”

“…Tantalum is a kind of metal material with moderate hardness, high ductility, small thermal expansion coefficient, excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding biocompatibility (Mani et al , 2022; Rahmati et al , 2016). These excellent properties allow tantalum to be applied to high-temperature alloys (Sopata et al , 2020; Robin and Rosa,, 2000), metal bone implants (Sopata et al , 2021; Li et al , 2020), electronic components (Gnanarajan et al , 2010; Cristea et al , 2015), chemical industry (Bayer et al , 2011), protective coatings (Sun et al , 2019), etc. The reason why tantalum has excellent biological and chemical properties is that tantalum can quickly generate a layer of surface oxide film coated on the metal substrate tightly in any environment.…”

“…In a study by Shahram Seyyedin (Seyyedin et al, 2020), the effect of mechanical alloying time on the microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties of Ta-10 (wt%)W alloy sintered at 2000 °C for 5 min using spark plasma sintering was investigated. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance of commercial purity titanium (CP-Ti) and Ti-6Al-4V (TC4) alloys coated with Ta-10W via multi-arc ion plating was investigated by Pei Sun, and electrochemical corrosion testing revealed that the Ta-10W coating improved the substrate's corrosion resistance (Sun et al, 2019). However, there isn't yet any research on the influence of temperature on the tribological properties of Ta-10W alloy.…”
