“…Coating compositions as a function of the power density applied at Al target given by EDX. previous works from the literature that equally describe columnar microstructures for NbN and AlN [2,9,12]. Film thickness, obtained through the verification of the cross-section by SEM, were 166 ± 1 nm for NbN, 170 ± 3 nm for Nb 0.90 Al 0.10 N, 181 ± 1 nm for Nb 0.80-Al 0.20 N and 199 ± 12 nm for Nb 0.60 Al 0.40 N. The higher the Al content, the greater the coatings' thickness, provided that the deposition parameters are maintained for all samples.…”
