Corrosion Behavior and Mechanical Properties of 30CrMnSiA High-Strength Steel under an Indoor Accelerated Harsh Marine Atmospheric Environment

Abstract: In this work, the corrosion behavior and mechanical properties of 30CrMnSiA high-strength steel under a harsh marine atmosphere environment were systematically studied using accelerated test technology, along with corrosion kinetic analysis, microstructure and phase composition analysis, electrochemical measurements, and mechanical property tests. The influence of corrosion time on corrosion kinetics was characterized by the weight loss method. The corrosion layer and its product evolution were analyzed by SEM… Show more

“…Due to the concealment of FHSB joint diseases and the complexity of removing the joint, the analysis of corroded joint components is mainly based on indoor test. Using the XRD, the SEM, electrochemical technology and alternate dry and wet corrosion test, many scholars have studied the corrosion behavior and rust formation mechanism of steel plate in different atmospheric corrosive environments [9][10]. Air pollutants, PH value and wet time have great influence on the formation of steel surface protective layer [11][12].…”
