Correlation of Shear and Turbulence on Scale Formation and Inhibition

Abstract: Current scale risk analysis focuses on thermodynamic calculations to determine the risk of scale, ignoring system kinetics and the impact of flow regimes on scale precipitation from mildly oversaturated systems.
