Correlation of Severe Head Injury Epidural Hematoma Trepanation Respond Time With Outcome

Abstract

Latar belakang. Hematoma epidural adalah perdarahan intrakranial yang terjadi karena fraktur tulang tengkorak akibat cedera kepala dimana terdapat akumulasi darah dalam rongga antara lapisan duramater dan tulang tengkorak. Tujuan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara respond time tindakan trepanasi hematoma epidural pada pasien cedera kepala berat dengan outcome. Metode. Penelitian observasional analitik retrospektif (cross sectional) dengan sampel 30 orang yang diambil di Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar Malang periode Juni 2012 hingga Agustus 2012. Variabel bebas penelitian ini adalah respond time tindakan trepanasi yang terbagi menjadi 5 yaitu respond time trepanasi kurang dari 6 jam, antara 6-12 jam, antara 12-18 jam, antara 18-24 jam, dan lebih dari 24 jam sedangkan variabel tergantung dalam penelitian ini adalah outcome mati hidup dari pasien. Data sekunder diambil menggunakan rekam medik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji independent T-test, uji korelasi spearman, uji kruskall walis dan uji ROC dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% (α=0,005). Hasil. Adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara respond time trepanasi hematoma epidural pada cedera kepala berat dengan outcome. Simpulan. Semakin cepat respond time trepanasi akan mendapatkan outcome yang lebih baik.
