Abstract:Introduction: Diabetic mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic disorders where glucose is underused, producing hyperglycemia, which is associated with renal dysfunction. Abnormal renal function is indicated by an abnormality in various biochemical parameters, among them serum urea, creatinine, and urinary microalbumin.
