Correlation of Rk39-Specific Antibodies and Thyroid Function in Patients with Visceral Leishmaniasis

Abstract: Objective: This study aimed to determine whether anti-rK39 antibodies were diagnostic markers for visceral leishmaniasis (kala-azar) and to evaluate the correlation between age and gender in disease occurrence in Iraqi patients.
